Por vezes a edição das Tags dos nossos ficheiros MP3 no iTunes não é suficiente porque o iTunes tem uma personalidade própria no que toca à forma como se deve editar essas Tags. Havia o ID3 Editor da Pa-Software, mas era pago. Agora surgiu um novo editor de id3 de mp3 gratuito. Ainda é um software recente, mas promete evoluir nos próximos tempos. Para além do mais é distribuído com as sources sob uma licença GPL2 o que permite a quem quiser atirar-se de cabeça a melhorar este editor.

Boa! Experimentei recentemente o tagger da Musicbrainz (google, s.f.f.) mas tem um motor demasiado complicado para o meu gosto, nomeadamente pesquisa cada faixa individualmente e demora anos pra fazer uma pesquisa completa. O facto de este usar a freedb é um plus descomunal!
bummer, só tem versão mac…
Comecei a usar este programa à umas semanas mas ainda tem alguns problemas, embora com grande potencial para melhorar.
Um dos mails que enviei ao developer:
“Hi,
I found Musorg the other day and when testing it I was experiencing the crashes now corrected in 0.2.1
I believe the program has lots of potential but still has a few bugs extra and features/tweaks missing ;)
Bugs:
– I can’t Select All tracks like in 0.2 . I believe the edit menu is missing.
– I can’t Save Modifications. I press OK when prompted and the prompt stays open forever. Pressing OK or Cancel has no effect.
Tweaks:
– Sort directory (and probably files) lists in ascending order
– Sort Tracks by track number (this would be default but with the
option to sort by any chosen column)
– Why did you decided to have 3 lists? Artist, Album and tracks?
If you open a directory only with mp3s in it they will be on the 1st list.
If you want to rename the dir it turns confusing. I believe only dirs should show up in the 1st list, tracks on the 2nd.
Features:
– Save settings:
+ last selected folder when using “Open Directory“
+ save personalized string replacement expressions (Rename Dir and Files)
– Visual confirmation on actions. When editing a file or files change the track(s) color to red. When “Save Tags” is pressed updated tracks turn green.
I honestly don’t know when Save is completed.
– Select/Unselect all tracks button
