Boa! Expe­ri­men­tei recen­te­mente o tag­ger da Music­brainz (goo­gle, s.f.f.) mas tem um motor dema­si­ado com­pli­cado para o meu gosto, nome­a­da­mente pes­quisa cada faixa indi­vi­du­al­mente e demora anos pra fazer uma pes­quisa com­pleta. O facto de este usar a fre­edb é um plus des­co­mu­nal!

Come­cei a usar este pro­grama à umas sema­nas mas ainda tem alguns pro­ble­mas, embora com grande poten­cial para melho­rar.
Um dos mails que enviei ao deve­lo­per:

“Hi,

I found Musorg the other day and when tes­ting it I was expe­ri­en­cing the crashes now cor­rec­ted in 0.2.1
I beli­eve the pro­gram has lots of poten­tial but still has a few bugs extra and features/​tweaks mis­sing ;)

Bugs:
- I can’t Select All tracks like in 0.2 . I beli­eve the edit menu is mis­sing.
- I can’t Save Modi­fi­ca­ti­ons. I press OK when promp­ted and the prompt stays open fore­ver. Pres­sing OK or Can­cel has no effect.

Twe­aks:
- Sort direc­tory (and pro­ba­bly files) lists in ascen­ding order
- Sort Tracks by track num­ber (this would be default but with the
option to sort by any cho­sen column)
- Why did you deci­ded to have 3 lists? Artist, Album and tracks?
If you open a direc­tory only with mp3s in it they will be on the 1^st list.
If you want to rename the dir it turns con­fu­sing. I beli­eve only dirs should show up in the 1^st list, tracks on the 2^nd.

Fea­tu­res:
- Save set­tings:
+ last selec­ted fol­der when using “Open Direc­tory”
+ save per­so­na­li­zed string repla­ce­ment expres­si­ons (Rename Dir and Files)
- Visual con­fir­ma­tion on acti­ons. When edi­ting a file or files change the track(s) color to red. When “Save Tags” is pres­sed upda­ted tracks turn green.
I hones­tly don’t know when Save is com­ple­ted.
- Select/​Unselect all tracks but­ton
