Where Good Ideas Come From: The Natural History of Innovation by Steven Johnson

Where Good Ideas Come From by Steven Johnson

Read from August 10 to 15, 2011

This book is a nice collection of anecdotal stories about ideas & inventions to show how the new ideas correlate with the “adjacent possible”, “liquid networks”, “slow hunches”, “serendipity”, “error”, “exaptation” and “platforms”.

It is well written and reads fast, although in some cases seams a bit superficial and could go a bit deeper into the details of what happened. In any case I recommend it in between heavy books. It will be fun!
